Two of the three seats on the Ford County Commission are up for grabs with incumbents Terry Williams and Kim Goodnight seeking to retain their positions. Goodnight was appointed to fill out the remainder of the term of a previous Commissioner who resigned and he is now seeking to serve a full term. Virtually all of the people currently holding elected office in Ford County whose terms are up are seeking reelection. That includes Goodnight and Williams, County Attorney Terry Malone, Clerk Sharon Seibel, Register of Deeds Brenda Pogue, Treasurer Debbie Pennington, Sheriff Dean Bush, and District Magistrate Judges Leigh Hood and Van Hampton. The Primary is on August 7th and the General Election will take place on November 6th.
