Denver (westernkansasnews.com)–In last night’s game, The Washington Nationals scored eight runs in the first four innings, and knocked out last second starter Edwar Cabrera for Colorado in the third inning, as they bounce the Rockies 11-5 Wednesday night. Marco Scutaro drove in two runs for Colorado, as both teams collected 14 hits in the game. The Rockies scored two in the final two innings, but fell short. After losing 12-5 and 11-5 to the Washington Nationals in the past two nights, the Colorado Rockies will look to salvage a split in the four-game series this afternoon. Josh Outman is scheduled to start for Colorado, while the Nationals will send Edwin Jackson in a 2:10 start at Coors Field in Denver.
