Police have been dogged in their pursuit of leads in the case, returning to the intersection last week to interview potential witnesses. Police Sergeant Michael Reagle says anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident, 10:30 p.m. on May 25th, may have information that is vital to solving the case. Reagle says that a photograph from the intersection at the time of the accident obtained by investigators reveals that there were several other motorists And people in the area at the time. Reagle adds that one tantalizing lead in the investigation indicates another motorist may have chased the suspect vehicle after it crashed into the victim. Both the driver of the suspect vehicle, possibly a Honda sedan, and the driver of the pickup truck who may have chased it, remain unknown. Reagle adds that even seemingly insignificant information from folks at the accident scene may help detectives identify the driver of the suspect vehicle and solve the case.
