A 14-year old Cimarron boy was injured in a single vehicle crash near Cimarron last Thursday on River Road near Road-16 in Gray County. The KHP reports that the teen was driving a 1992 Toyota sedan when he lost control of the vehicle and plowed into a telephone pole. The young driver was transported to Western Plains Regional Hospital with moderate injuries. A 15-year old passenger in the car was not hurt. Neither teen was wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred.
The exact cause of the accident is under investigation.
