Visitation: 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM,   Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses, Kansas.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 26,   2012 at the Oasis Church in Ulysses, Kansas with Pastor Kris Humphrey   officiating.

Interment:   Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be   given in lieu of flowers to the Cancer Center of Kansas in care of Garnand   Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.

Dennis Hill, age 59, of   Ulysses, Kansas died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at his home in Ulysses, Kansas. He   was born April 13, 1953 in Elizabethton, Tennessee, the son of Roy B. and   Mary Frances (Scalf) Jenkins.

Dennis grew up in Tennessee   and moved to Ulysses, Kansas in 1975. He married Kathy Patton in 1980 in   Ulysses. Dennis worked for Anderson Motors and was currently the mechanic at   Pioneer Communications. He enjoyed rebuilding cars, dancing, fishing,   boating, working with horses and cows, and spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his two   sons, Heath Hill and wife Melissa of Deerfield, Kansas, Chance Hill and wife   Laura Jo of Johnson, Kansas; one daughter, Windy Lopez and husband Jose of   North Carolina; brothers, Daniel Paul, Cecil and wife Norma, Gary Lynn and   wife Judy, Dean and wife Gayle all of Elizabethton, Tennessee; sisters, Betty   Mathis and husband Joe, Barbara Sue Elliott, Kay Church and husband Rick all   of Elizabethton, Tennessee; and four grandchildren, Shaylie and Treyton Hill,   Kinlie Jo Hill, and Tony Lopez.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Leroy, Ricky   Gene, R.B., Della, Richard, and Mildred.
