Finney County Commissioners meet on Monday to conduct a budget workshop and go over the proposed budget for the new fiscal year with auditors Lewis, Hooper, and Dick. Commissioners will set the maximum amount the county will be able to spend during the next fiscal year at the workshop.
Finney County’s total budget is approximately $36-million. The final budget will be adopted in August and the new fiscal year starts in January.
