Garden City has recruited a new City Prosecutor. Attorney Jennifer Cunningham will now take over the reins of the city’s prosecutor’s office, replacing Jake Cunningham, who is returning to private practice.
Cunningham is a 2010 graduate of Washburn University School of Law and will officially start on August 7th. She has worked as an Assistant Finney County Attorney since 2010.
Garden City Manager Matt Allen says that City staff looks forward to Cunningham joining its management team.
As City Prosecutor, Cunningham will be responsible for prosecuting city ordinance violations in municipal court.
