GCCC spokesperson Steve Quakenbush says the reverse transfer agreement was signed by Dr. Herbert J. Swender, GCCC president, and university president Dr. Kirk Schultz during a recent ceremony on the K-State campus in Manhattan.
The arrangement allow credits earned at K-State to transfer toward an unfinished associate degree at GCCC, meaning that a student who moves onto the university from GCCC can complete their associate degree even they didn’t do so before transferring.
The agreement takes effect for students enrolling in the 2012 fall semester, as well as for all future semesters.
