Motorists travelling through Ford County are cautioned to watch for road workers doing resurfacing work on K-34 this week.  KDOT spokesperson Kirk Hutchinson says the project runs from the Clark/Ford county line, north to the junction of K-34 and US-54 in Bucklin.

Hutchinson says the project includes a surface recycle of the top two inches of asphalt, followed by a chip seal to preserve and protect the road surface.  In Bucklin the contractor will mill the top two inches of asphalt and then place two inches of fresh asphalt on the roadway.

Hutchinson adds that traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zone, guided by a pilot car. Drivers can expect delays of 15 minutes or less.
