A New Mexico woman arrested two years ago in Pratt who then went on the run is back in Kansas facing charges of possessing 160-pounds of marijuana.  U.S. Department of Justice spokesperson Jim Cross says 47-year old Norma Quintana was initially arrested along with her husband Hector during a traffic stop in Pratt in March, 2010.  After her arrest Quintana was released on bond and vanished.  Her husband was later murdered in Mexico and charges against him have been dropped.  If convicted, Quintana faces up to 20-years in prison.

In other DOJ news, Cross says a 27-year old Dodge man has been arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.  It is illegal for felons to own or handle guns and Adam Flores faces up to 10-years in prison and a $250-thousand fine if convicted.
