Two suspects have been taken into custody in the robbery-murder of a Dodge City man and the search is on for a third suspect.  Dodge City Police Chief Craig Mellecker reports that 18-year old Jesus Rivas Jr. and 20-year old William Edwards have been arrested in the shooting death of Miguel Tol-Juarez.  The alleged murder occurred at 3:34 a.m. on August 5th during an attempted robbery on Avenue F in Dodge City.  A third suspect in the killing, 16-year old Miguel Solis, remains at large and wanted for questioning by police.  Anyone with information on Solis’s whereabouts is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers toll free at (877) 424-4414.

Mellecker says officers interviewed several witnesses who reported that the victim and others had been confronted by three suspects demanding money.  Juarez was shot by at least one of the suspects during the confrontation.
