The third single vehicle wreck involving a big-rig in as many weeks in Southwest Kansas happened last Saturday on US-160 a half-mile north of Coldwater. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that 43-year old Floyd Chambers was driving a Peterbuilt Semi-truck westbound on the highway and ran into trouble while bearing to the left a “Y” in the road. Chambers lost control of the truck and it overturned, landing on its side.
The driver was transported to Comanche County Hospital with moderate injuries, treated and released.
