A 43-year old Hugoton man has died after crashing a KDOT tractor-trailer 11-miles south of Ulysses on Monday.  The Kansas Highway Patrol conveys that Jeffery Harris was driving a Kansas Department of Transportation truck northbound on K-25 at 9:07 a.m. when the vehicle went into the east ditch.  The driver over-corrected and entered the west ditch, rolling one-and-a-half times, coming to a rest on its passenger side.

Harris was rushed to Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses before being Life Flight to St. Francis Hospital Wichita.  He later succumbed to his injuries.
