Dodge City Days continues through Sunday and featured a very special rodeo on Wednesday. The Youthville Special Rodeo allows children with special needs to be part of the awesome Dodge City Roundup PRCA Rodeo – A Wrangler Million Dollar Tour Rodeo. On Wednesday children had a blast being teamed with professional rodeo contestants. Wednesday night featured the Dodge City Roundup PRCA Rodeo and Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Ford County Fireworks Extravaganza at the Dodge City Roundup Arena.
The Dodge City Roundup PRCA Rodeo continues each night at 7:45 through Sunday. Saturday night is tough enough to wear pink night when spectators are encouraged to wear pink in support of cancer survivors and research.
Dodge City Days began two different events in 1960: the Boothill Fiesta and Dodge City Roundup. The popular festival has since grown into a 10-day event drawing visitors from across the Sunflower State and region.
