City Hall, Sheridan Activities Center, CREW recycle center and municipal
court will be closed in observance of the Labor Day holiday on Monday,
The City Commission meeting has been moved to Tuesday, September 4th, in
the city commission chamber, 806 N. 2nd Ave. beginning at 7:00 pm.
Sanitation services normally scheduled for Monday will be moved to
Tuesday and polycarts should be placed at the curb by 7:00 am.
General public transportation will not be offering any services on
Monday but will resume regular hours on Tuesday.
The Convention & Visitors Bureau will be open its regular summer season
hours of 8:00 am to 6:30 pm with trolley tours offered at 9:30 am, 10:45
am, 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm on Monday. Winter hours will begin on Tuesday
from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Sheridan Activities Center will begin its fall/winter hours of
operation on Saturday, Sept. 1: Monday-Friday from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm,
Friday from 5:30 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and
Sunday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
