Dodge City Police are investigating another violent crime.  Chief of Police Craig Mellecker reports that officers and Ford County Sheriff’s deputies were summoned to Pizza Hut on West Wyatt Earp Avenue at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday night in response to an armed robbery.  Mellecker says when officers arrived workers informed them that two suspects had confronted them and demanded cash.  The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

One of the suspects was located and taken into custody about 90-minutes later.  Another suspect remains at large.  Anyone with information on the robbery or the second suspect is asked to contact Dodge Police.  Tipsters may remain anonymous.
