Dodge City Director of Engineering Ray Slattery addressed City Commissioners regarding the reconstruction of 14th Avenue during their regular meeting on Monday. Plans call for reconstructing the road between Wyatt Earp Boulevard and Spruce Street. Slattery recommended that Commissioners approve a bid for the work from JAG Construction for $219,239. Funding for the project will be provided through previously approved General Obligation Bonds.
Slattery says completion of the project will help maintain the city’s infrastructure and will extend the life of the busy thoroughfare.
