Labor Day Weekend, one of the busiest periods of the year for road trips, kicks off just two-weeks from this Friday and fuel prices are climbing.  Triple-A of Kansas reports that the national average price of regular-unleaded is up 30-cents from just a month ago at $3.70.  The statewide average in Kansas is slightly lower at a hair over $3.63.  California and Hawaii are the mostly costly places to fill the tank at $4.09 and $4.16 a gallon.

In Garden City the average price of regular-unleaded is $3.59, in Dodge City it is $3.63, and in Liberal it cost $3.55 for every gallon pumped.
