GCCC FALL SEMESTER ENROLLMENT OPEN TO PUBLIC

Daytime and evening classes getting under way on campus Aug. 22

 

Fall semester classes will get under way Aug. 22 at Garden City Community College, and public enrollment is available for people interested in taking daytime or evening courses in the upcoming term.

The place to enroll is the GCCC Student and Community Services Center, and hours for assistance there are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, as well as 8 a.m. to noon Fridays.

Hours will extend Aug. 13 and later to 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Fridays.

Class schedules are available at the SCSC, and course opportunities may also be viewed atwww.gcccks.edu, under “Search for Classes.” In addition, “Inside GCCC,” the college’s public newsletter, course listing and enrollment guide, is scheduled to arrive Aug. 6-10 in home mail boxes throughout Finney, Greeley, Hamilton, Kearny, Lane, Scott and Wichita Counties.

Numbers to call for information include 620-276-9608 at the Admissions Office or 620-276-7611, which is the main campus line.

 “We’re offering a full range of credit courses for people all across Southwest Kansas who want to build essential skills, advance toward their degrees, prepare for job and career opportunities or simply enrich life through learning,” said Nikki Geier, admissions director.
