Garden City, KS (www.westernkansasnews.com) – “GCHS FOOTBALL SCRIMMAGE HAS BEEN CANCELED”.   Garden City High School Athletic Director Martin Segovia states, the GCHS Brown and White Football Scrimmage scheduled for tonight at the new High School Stadium has been “CANCELED” due to the inclement weather around the area that includes lots of lightening.  The scrimmage will not be re-scheduled, as the Buffaloes continue preparation for their 2012 opening game August 31st, as they will entertain Bixby Oklahoma at 7:00.  Buffalo Coach Brian Hill says, they will have their regular scheduled practice at 9:00 am Saturday morning at the new stadium.
