Visitation: 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday,   9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Tuesday , at Garnand Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August   01, 2012 at First Christian Church with Rev Scott Schurle officiating.

Interment:   Valley View Cemetery in Garden City with graveside rites conducted by Garden   City Area Veterans Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions may be   given to St Catherine Cancer Center in care of Garnand Funeral Home.

Kenneth R. Ladd, age 64, died   Saturday, July 28, 2012 at his home in Garden City. He was born November 21,   1947 at Garden City the son of Raymond E. & Evelyn L. (Trombley) Ladd. He   married Susan Harmony in August of 1975.

Kenneth graduated from Garden   City High School in 1965. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was stationed on   the USS Cascade. After his discharge he returned to Garden City and joined   the family business- Ladd Service. He enjoyed collecting antiques, depression   glass, classic cars and playing pool. Kenneth was a member of First Christian   Church of Garden City, and Harry H. Renick American Legion Post # 9.

Survivors include daughter,   Katherine & Scott Laurange of Dallas, Texas; son, Matthew Ladd of   Parsons; mother, Evelyn Ladd of Garden City; sister, Doborah Ladd of San   Diego, California; and grandson, Vincent Laurange of Dallas, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father.
