Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. ,Tuesday, August   14, 2012 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Chaplin Doug Williams   officiating..

Interment:   Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.

Linda J. Mooney, age 63 of   Garden City, Kansas passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 at St. Catherine   Hospital in Garden City. She was born on December 9, 1948 in St. Joseph,   Missouri, daughter of Earl and Hazel (McKnight) Moore.

Linda grew up in St. Joseph   where she met her husband, Kenny D. Mooney. On July 21, 1973 they were   married in Saint Joseph. The couple moved to Garden City, Kansas in August of   1984 and have lived here since. Linda was a homemaker, she enjoyed spoiling   her grandchildren, collecting movies and listening to Elvis music. She was   preceded in death by her parents, a brother; Clay Moore, a son; Jonathan   Moore and a daughter-in-law; Tamera Moore.

Survivors include 2 sons;   Steven Moore of Garden City, Kansas, Brian Mooney of Atchison, Kansas, 2   daughters; Renee Johnson of Garden City, Kansas, Ronda Alonzo of Garden City,   Kansas, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons.
