Verizon is improving access to its 4-gig wireless network in Southwest Kansas starting Thursday. Spokesperson Zoe Brown says customers will have expanded access to its 4G Long Term Evolution network in the Garden City area, when it expands to Lakin and Ulysses this week.
The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network is currently available in Garden City and Holcomb. With Thursday’s network expansion, residents in towns Lakin and Ulysses will now have access to the 4G network. Devices for accessing the network include: a variety of tablets, mobile hotspots, smartphones and more.
