Verizon has announced that it is improving access to its 4-gig wireless network in Southwest Kansas. Spokesperson Zoe Brown says customers will have greater access to its 4G Long Term Evolution network in the Garden City area, when it expands to Lakin and Ulysses on August 16th.
The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network is currently available in Garden City and Holcomb. With the planned network expansion, residents in towns such as Lakin and Ulysses will now have access to the 4G network. Devices for accessing the network include: a variety of tablets, mobile hotspots, smartphones and more.
