GCHS Buffaloes Collect First Win on the Road at Woodward Oklahoma-Audio
Garden City, KS (www.westernkansasnews.com) – It was not artistic but effective for the Garden City High School Buffalo Football team last Friday on the road to Woodward Oklahoma, the Buffs beat the Boomers 17-7 for the third consecutive year. The offense struggled in many facets of the game, but the defense handled the challenge from Woodward, as the Boomers got their lone score on an interception in the 3rd quarter. With the win Garden City moves to 1-1 on the season and will start Western Athletic Conference play Friday at Great Bend. Coach Brian Hill comments on the game and his teams performance in the victory.
