Garden City, KS (www.westernkansasnews.com) – Coming to Garden City from the University of Central Arkansas, former Division I Coach Rand Chappell takes over the Broncbuster program after Kris Bauman left late last spring. Coach Chappell has been a success story everywhere he has been and certainly understands the Community College challenge, have started in the Jayhawk Conference in the East Division at Labette County in the early 90′s. With more than 300 wins in his coaching career, Rand Chappell understands what it takes from the recruitment end, qualifying great athletes and preparing them for success on the floor. The 2012-2013 Busters have been in pre-season practice for over two weeks, and Coach Chappell comments on his teams performance to this stage and what they anticipate for the coming season.
