The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks & Tourism will host the annual Southwest Youth Program at Scott State Park on October 21, 2012 from 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Individuals attending the program will have the opportunity to WIN mentored hunts, as well as a shotgun. Drawing for fall hunts include duck, geese, turkey, and deer. Activities during the day include predator calling, shotgun shooting, archery, etc.
Sponsors will provide a free lunch for everyone who attends the program, as well as shirts and predator calls. Sponsors include, Extreme Fowl, Pheasants Forever from Scott City and Scott County, Oasis Hunting , Hoeme & Hoeme Farms .
