Main Street Dodge City shone like a star at the annual “Main Street Symposium Banquet” held in Emporia on Thursday, October 18, bringing home 5 Kansas Main Street Awards of Excellence  The banquet capped off the two-day event where representatives and supporters of the twenty-five Main Street organizations in the state of Kansas met in Emporia to discuss the future of Main Street in Kansas, to engage in entrepreneurial and community development training, and to recognize and celebrate the successes of the past year.

The power of the Kansas Main Street network was evident the evening of banquet as over 200 individuals representing staff, volunteers, and stakeholders from 25 Kansas Main Street communities came together to celebrate the best achievements from this past year.
