Garden City Man Arrested For Hospital Bomb Threats

A Garden City man has been arrested for two bomb threats which occurred at St. Catherine Hospital.  38 year old Michael Clayton Mann was arrested yesterday by Garden City Police.

On Friday, July 20, 2012 at approximately 10:14 a.m., the Garden City Police Department received a call in regard to a bomb threat left in a bathroom at St. Catherine Hospital (401 E. Spruce St.).  Officers from the Garden City Police Department, along with personnel from the Garden City Fire Department, Kansas Highway Patrol  and St. Catherine Hospital conducted a thorough search of the hospital and no suspicious device was located.  

On Wednesday, October 10, 2012, a second bomb threat was left in a bathroom at St. Catherine Hospital.  After an investigation into these incidents, officers with the Garden City Police Department arrested Mann.  Mann is charged with 2 counts of criminal threats and is currently being held in the Finney County Jail in lieu of 80 thousand dollars bond.
