Garden City, KS (www.westernkansasnews.com) – After completing an extremely successful Golf career at Garden City High School finishing 3rd individually this past season at the 6A State Golf Tournament, senior Abbey Campbell will take her game to the next level. Campbell signed a letter of intent yesterday with the University of Missouri Kansas City to play Golf for the Lady Roos next year. She is the second Lady Buff Linkster to sign with a Division I program back to back, as Mackenzie Thayer signed last year with the University of Kansas after winning the individual 6A State title last season. Campbell also helped her team to the 6A runner-up finish in 2011 at Shadow Glen Golf Club in Kansas City. Abbey Campbell comments on the relief she feels after signing, the choices she had and why she chose UMKC.
