Two Broncbusters Named NJCAA All-Americans

Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Two Garden City Broncbusters were named to the NJCAA All-American Teams on Wednesday, helping highlight what has been a great run for the Buster football program in 2012. Receiving first team honors was Tyreek Hill as a return specialist. Hill is a 5-10, 180 pound freshman from Douglass, Georgia. Nick Marshal was named to the second team as a quarterback. The KJCCC Offensive Player of the Year 6-2, 210 pound sophomore from Pineview, Georgia.

Other Jayhawk Conference players named to the all-american teams included Butler’s Jon McClure at offensive line, Coffeyville’s Martell Spaight at linebacker, and Fort Scott’s keven short at defensive back on the first team list. Receiving second team status were Hutchinson’s Terrell Lane at running back, Michael Mesh at kicker, and Toby Johnson at defensive line, Butler’s Javess Blue at wide receiver and Tate Omli at defensive back, and Tommy Sanders from Butler was named on the honorable mention list as a linebacker.
