The family of Michael (Mike) A. Long have requested the Patriot Guard Riders to escort him to his final resting place.

 

A1 Michael Long passed away February 3, 2013 after a long illness.

 

A1 Michael Long joined the Navy in 1990 and was discharged in June of 1991 for medical reasons. During his time he was awarded the Defense Metal for the Iraq War. He was a member of the American Legion in Bucklin, Ks. He is survived by his wife Emma, three children, Michael, Alex and Harley, his mother and father, a brother and a sister.

 

Staging:

1000 hrs. (10:00 am) – Stage at The corner on Main and US 54 (Zeke’s Parking lot)

1015 hrs. (10:15 am) – Briefing

 

Once the briefing is complete we will ride to the church (Methodist Church) located on Main St to set up for the escort to the Bucklin Cemetery. If you wish to attend the church service, it starts at 1000 (10:00 am) we will line you up after the services. Flags will be at the cemetery for a flag line.

 

American Legion Riders are invited as well.
