Plains Indian Exhibit Attendance Registration Still Open


There is still time to register to attend the Special Presentation by Ken Weidner about the Plains Indian Exhibit that is currently on display at the Santa Fe Depot Train Station located at 101 E. Wyatt Earp in the heart of historic Dodge City. The presentation begins at 3:00 PM and is free of charge. Refreshments will be served. Join Special Presenter Ken Weidner and explore the mystery of the Plains Indians. Ken designs and equips many museum exhibits. Local museums include Grant, Finney, and Scott County Historical Societies. Oklahoma State Historical Museum also has some of his work, as well as Gene Autry-South West Museum in Los Angeles California. Recently, Ken made two saddles to be used for a “hands on” exhibit for the National Museum of the American Indian, the Smithsonian’s new Indian museum on the National Mall inWashington DC.
