A Garden City man was arrested in the wee hours of the morning yesterday morning on an array of drug charges.
30 year old Jose Miguel Muniz of Garden City, who was wanted on various warrants through Finney County District Court was located and arrested at 1202 E. Chestnut Apt. 3, Garden City at approximately 1:48 in the morning.
During a subsequent search of the apartment, officers found 12.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 24.7 grams of suspected marijuana, 28 hydrocodone pills, six clonazepam pills, items of drug paraphernalia consistent with the use and distribution of illegal drugs, and $1,154.00.
Muniz was arrested on the warrants and the additional allegations of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell within 1000’ of a school, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell within 1000’ of a school, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, no Kansas drug tax stamp, possession of the proceeds from the sale of controlled substances, possession of hydrocodone with the intent to sell within 1000’ of a school, and possession of clonazepam with the intent to sell within a 1000’ of a school.
Munoz is currently being held in the Finney County Jail in lieu of 211 thousand dollars bond.
