Western Kansas News has learned that Stelera Wireless Internet, who has been providing service to Liberal, Hugoton and Ulysses has ceased doing business in those communities. Western Kansas News has obtained a copy of a letter sent to Stelera Customers in those communities and dated April 30, 2013, which reads in part:
“We are informing you today that due to unsustainable business losses and third-party actions that are beyond our control, in the near future Stelera Wireless, LLC will become unable to provide broadband Internet access service to you. We are informing you of this out of concern for you and your ability to avoid internet service interruption.
Effective immediately, Stelera Wireless has stopped billing customers for monthly service. Although we will endeavor to continue to provide Stelera internet service as long as reasonably possible, you should find another service provider to secure your connection to the internet as soon as possible. Stelera Wireless, LLC appreciates its relationship with you and your loyalty.”
