Bandits season comes to an end

Hays, Ks (westernkansasnews)-Finney County 17 and under saw their season come to an end Tuesday afternoon with a 4-2 loss to Dodge City in the American Legion District Tournament at Larks Park. 

“I’m proud of our kids,” Bandits coach Joe Kraft said. “We fought all the way to the end. Things just didn’t go our way.”

Finney County finishes the season at 10-16, but don’t think they’re not already looking forward to next summer. 

“The people really have something to look forward to next summer in Garden City,” Kraft said. “It will definitely be exciting.”
