Dodge City, Ks. (westernkansasnews)

An unprecedented in clinic stem cell procedure will be performed on a local Dodge City veterinarians own dog tomorrow.  Dr. Lindsey Freeman of Dodge City Veterinary Clinic is one of the 450 nationwide accredited Veterinarians to implement this breakthrough American Veterinary Medical Association approved procedure, and is one of only a few clinics in the entire state of Kansas that now offer this incredible technology.  Dr. Freeman will be performing this breakthrough procedure on her own dog:  RANSOM.  The procedure will take place at 9:00AM at the Dodge City Veterinary Clinic, 1920 E. Trail in Dodge City.

Ransom is a beautiful 6 year old German Shepherd and is currently suffering from chronic arthritis and a torn ACL on his left hind leg. Dr. Freeman got Ransom when she first started vet school and he has not only been “vet’s best friend” but an inspiration for her entire veterinarian career. Now it’s Dr. Freeman’s chance to give back to Ransom by performing this groundbreaking procedure on her own beloved companion as an alternative to expensive and invasive surgery.
