Garden City, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-If there was an RPI system in women’s college soccer like there is in college hoops, Garden City Community College would tops in the country.

The Busters continued their early-season struggles against the gauntlet of competition, falling to Dodge City 10-2 on Wednesday night in the inaugural game at the new football stadium.

“At this point it’s just about working on strategy,” Garden City Coach Hector Martinez said. “We need to work on the different positions, otherwise we’ll keep on losing.”

Sophomore middle Deydi Depaz believes it’s all about attitude:

“We can keep talking about winning,” Depaz said. “It’s about showing it on the field and showing what we can do as a team.”

Next up: Busters (0-3) vs. Pratt-Saturday (0-3) 4 p.m.
