New Finney County EMS Director Takes Reigns

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) There is a new man who is the first line of defense in an emergency.  Skylar Swords, the new Emergency Services Director in Finney County has worked his way up to his new position.  Early on the real need is getting the right people to answer his help wanted sign.

Until then part-time emergency medical technicians are logging those hours. As for what the future holds?

Swords says adding a second station in Garden City will take a lot of work, but is important to meet the needs of a growing population.
