Huelskamp: Leadership Lacking in both Border Crisis; Iraq

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The crisis continues at our southern boarder as thousands of kids, many without parents are running up to border agents and asking for help.  Congressman Tim Huelskamp is concerned the President does not have the will to stop the problem.

Huelskamp is not just blaming the President for this mess.

While the US government turns its attention to our southern border, there’s concern about what’s happening in a place American forces spent almost a decade fighting…Iraq.  ISIS wants to set up an Islamic terrorist state and they are winning the civil war in the country.  Congressman Huelskamp is critical of President Obama for closing his eyes to the potential threat.

ISIS leader has already threatened to attack the US when he said to US forces “I’ll see you in New York”.  Back in Washington, the investigation into the IRS scandal and their possible targeting of conservative groups has hit some road blocks.  The biggest hurdle to overcome is finding two years of missing emails sent by former director Lois Lerner.

Huelskamp is upset that the IRS does not believe the rules apply to them.

Huelskamp is calling on the House to be tough in order to get accountability into who was responsible for this scandal.
