Driving Fatalities Exceeds Last Year’s Pace

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The pace has slowed down, but as we enter into the final few months of 2014 the rate of fatality accidents on Kansas roads is still of concern.

 

KDOT spokesman Kirk Hutchinson was not able to give a reason for this spike in traffic fatalities this year. Hutchinson says law enforcement is attempting to crack down on distracted driving including texting as a way of slowing down this year’s fatality numbers.
