Hugoton Plays Guymon in Season Opener

Hugoton, KS (westernkansasnews.com)  A couple of similarities when the Hugoton Eagles take the field against Guymon tonight.  The most glaring similarity is that both Hugoton Coach Todd Fulton and Guymon’s Mike Taylor are introducing new schemes on both sides of the ball.

Although Hugoton first year head coach Todd Fulton is looking for his offense to pass more than in previous years, it does not mean his team will totally abandon the run.

Both teams are young in some key positions.  Hugoton went 5-4 last year, Guymon 0-10.  Pre-game from Hugoton begins at 6:30 tonight on Hits 106.  Kickoff is at 7pm.
