Layoffs Announced at Garden City Company
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Hutchinson News reports that a pressurized tank manufacturing company has announced 80 layoffs at its Garden City facility as profits sink from lower gas prices. The layoffs at Palmer Manufacturing and Tank based out of Ohio are eliminating 245 jobs in three states. The fiber glass tanks manufacturer are used for agricultural, chemical and industrial uses in the oil and gas field.
