Teresa Rojo, 82, died Monday, March 2, 2015 at her home in Garden City. She was born October 27, 1932 at Zimapan, Hidalgo, Mexico to parents German Rojo and Petra Zuniga.

Teresa Rojo was born and raised in Mexico. She moved to Garden City, Kansas in 2001. She was a master seamstress and had many clients who sought out her talents as a dress maker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking gorditas, making beaded bracelets for her grandchildren, and listening to her favorite song, “Tu Carcel”. Other hobbies included tending to her plants and keeping her cats warm.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, and 3 brothers-Jesus Rojo, Cidronio Valladares, and Pablo Valladares.
