Lawrence “Larry” H. Isenbart Jr.

Lawrence “Larry” H. Isenbart Jr., 82, died April 27, 2015 at his home in Dodge City. He was born on November 16, 1932 at Alva , Oklahoma the son of Lawrence and Faye (Cornish) Isenbart. 

He married Lenora Kite on March 2, 1954 in Ashland, Kansas, she survives. He worked as a mechanic at B&B Auto Parts for over 40 years before retiring. Mr. Isenbart enjoyed spending time with his family and attending the Kansas State Fair every year. 

He was a member of the Cathedral of our Lady of Guadalupe, Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe K of C Council #2954 and was also a former Moose Lodge Member all of Dodge City. 

Survivors include his wife Lenora of the home; two sons Tim and wife Debbie Isenbart of Dodge City; James and wife Mary Isenbart of Dodge City; four daughters Elnora Elmore and husband Frank of Cimarron; LaVonda Isenbart and Tim of Pacific Junction, Iowa; Connie Walker and husband Scott of Spearville; Melanie Isenbart and Justus of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by twenty seven grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Andy, Warren, one sister Eva Lee Isenbart, one daughter Bertha Pearl Isenbart and two sons Paul Insenbart and Bill Insenbart. 

Funeral Mass will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Terrance Klein presiding. Burial will take place at 2:00 PM Friday, May 1, 2015 at Highland Cemetery in Ashland. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A Vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Memorials are suggested to Lawrence “Larry” H. Isenbart in care of the funeral home.
