Police Chase Down Driver After Eluding Traffic Stop
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Around 12:30 Tuesday morning, Garden City Police chased down a driver later identified as 34 year old Victor Fry who eluded them during a traffic stop on W. Fulton Street. A pursuit followed and police report twice the suspect attempted to hit approaching squad cars.
Stop sticks were deployed to end the chase on the 300 block of North Main Street. Fry then reportedly fled into a home on Finnup Drive where eventually he was taken into custody.
The suspect is facing a series of charges. Fry was taken to St. Catherine Hospital for minor injuries.
