Teacher Recruiting Efforts Falling Short in USD 457

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) During Monday night’s school board meeting at USD 457 in Garden City the focus turned into the difficulty of bringing teacher’s into the district. USD 457 Public Information Coordinator Roy Cessna says school officials have left no stone unturned.

That is why the district will shift its priorities a bit from recruitment to retention of teachers already on staff.
