Shots Fired at Two Liberal Police Officers; Suspect in Custody
Liberal, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Thursday night around 7:30 the Liberal Police department reports an unidentified man fired several shots at two officers during a foot pursuit following a traffic stop. Both officers are uninjured. The suspect a 22 year old man was stopped on the 200 block of East 7th Street.
Once the findings of their investigation conclude, it is likely the suspect will be brought up on attempted murder and aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer.
