New Law on Raffles Helps Save The Cupola Campaign Pass Goal

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Save the Cupola Fundraising effort for the Windsor Hotel has met its goal of bringing in 39 thousand dollars. Brian Nelson, Executive Director of the Finney County Preservation Alliance explains you name it, they did it in reaching their goal.

 

The new law allowing raffles for non-profits help lead this fundraising effort.  Brian Nelson, Executive Director of the Finney County Preservation Alliance explains there are still some rules they had to follow.

The new law for raffles are exclusively for non-profits and stricter rules are in place for groups hoping to raise more than 20-thousand dollars.
