Buffs soccer holds on to beat East

Wichita, KS (westerkansasnews.com)-The last couple of weeks have been up and down for Garden City soccer. But if there’s one thing that’s been consistent, it’s been their defense. 

That continued on Monday. 

Alex Morales scored in the 32nd minute, and the Garden City defense dominated in a 1-0 victory over Wichita East in the opening round of the Wichita North Cup. 

The Buffaloes move onto play Wichita Heights on Thursday.
